Service Description

A one day intensive diploma course, covering techniques and classifications for a full back neck and shoulder massage routine, as well as working with the chakras/energy centres of the client. Topics we will be covering on the course: • History of Massage • Different types of massage • Chakra, Aura and energy/healing work • Client observation • How to massage holistically • Effects of stress on the body • Benefits/contraindications • Oils and Mediums • Classification of massage techniques/movements • Basic anatomy including: effects of massage on the skin and muscles, lymphatic and circulatory system • Routine: areas massaged: back, neck and shoulders, head • Consultation and aftercare You also may be required to receive this treatment on the day if others are on the course with you and swap over as practice. Please advise when booking a course, if you would prefer not to receive this treatment or if you have any contraindications such as back, neck and shoulder injury. Suffer from severe migraines, high blood pressure, diabetes, have any heart problems or devices or any other medical issues I should be aware of. Could you also advise if you have any allergies that may be triggered from the oils we will be using.
